Police received a 911 call at around 10:40 p.m. for a male shot at that location and found Gill with multiple gunshot wounds to the body.
He was rushed to Kings County Hospital, but couldn’t be saved. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
Police have not revealed a motive in the deadly shooting. Gill was just a few weeks’ shy of his 14th birthday.
