Cubs tickets 2024: Best prices to see Cody Bellinger, Dansby Swanson

The Chicago Cubs clawed and scraped their way through the 2023 season.

However, when push came to shove, Dave Ross’ club lost five of their last six to finish 83-79 leaving them just a single game short of the NL Wild Card.

To rectify that heartbreaking end to the season, the 153-year-old (!) franchise fired Ross and hired NL Central rival Craig Counsell to helm the squad.

He’ll oversee a talented roster that includes 2023 All-Stars Justin Steele and Dansby Swanson along with fan favorites Cody Bellinger, Seiya Suzuki, Ian Happ, Patrick Wisdom and Nico Hoerner.

Plus, you won’t want to forget workhorse starting pitchers Kyle Hendricks and Jameson Taillon as well as rookie Shota Imanaga.

And if you’re excited about this new and improved ball club, we have even more good news to report.

At the time of publication, some tickets to see the Cubs at their home Wrigley Field this season are going for as low as $5 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Yes, you read that right.

There really are tickets available that are cheaper than a beer at the ballpark.

When you throw in giveaway freebies like interchangeable Ian Happ bobbleheads and fleece blankets, there really is no reason not to head to Wrigley to root for the Cubbies.

How to watch the Cubs in 2024

Even though tickets are fairly inexpensive to see the Cubs live, sometime’s there’s nothing better than watching on the tube.

If that’s the case, you can catch the boys in blue and white on the Marquee Sports Network, ESPN, Fox, Fox Sports 1 and TBS.

Of course, make sure to check your local listings before tuning in.

Out of state Cubs fans, be sure to sign up for MLB.tv to root the squad on from afar.

Chicago Cubs news

Cody Bellinger had quite a 2023; after a dismal two-season stretch in 2021-22, the center fielder slashed 307/.365/.525 with 26 home runs, finished tenth in NL MVP voting and won Comeback Player of the Year.

So, when the Cubs re-signed him for a three-year $80 million contract, their odds of taking home the NL Central improved greatly.

Where do they stand now? You’ll have to check out the NY Post’s story here to find out.
