Saquon Barkley’s free agency has already begun to take shape, and bookies don’t expect a reunion with Big Blue.
The Giants originally opened at -150 (60 percent chance implied) to retain Barkley, but those odds have dropped dramatically, moving down to +600 (14.29 percent chance).
The Giants’ odds of resigning Barkley have plummeted since they elected to not tag their franchise running back, making him an unrestricted free agent.
The Houston Texans, long expected to covet the running back, are now the -150 betting favorites, taking over the G-Men’s place as the clear favorites for Barkley.
Further down the oddsboard are a few surprises, including the Los Angeles Chargers at +275, who don’t have much cap room to fit Barkley into their puzzle.
The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles come in at +450, tied for the third-best odds to land Barkley.
It is worth noting that any other team in the Barkley sweepstakes is not currently being taken seriously by DraftKings‘ oddsmakers, as no other team has odds better than 50/1 for the star running back.

The Post‘ NFL’s Ryan Dunleavy listed the Texans as the leading candidate to grab Barkley, but also mentioned the Cowboys as viable suitors.
Dunleavy called Barkley the “perfect fit” for Dallas and that owner Jerry Jones might need to go all-in on this team as he grows older.
Jones, 81, has paid running backs handsomely in the past, backing up the truck for Ohio State product Ezekiel Elliot.
And the nightmare for Giants fans is if Barkley decides to head back to Pennsylvania and join the Eagles.

Dunleavy notes that the Eagles would gladly bring him in the former Penn State star on a one-year deal.
They might be the backup plan, but bettors clearly decided to jump in on Dunleavy’s reporting.
