This summer, WFH stands for Working From Helm.
Grownups-only cruise line Virgin Voyages is floating an offer remote workers may not be able to refuse in 2024 — ditch your home office and set up shop at sea for a month, with everything you need to stay connected to your job, at a relatively reasonable fare.
Priced at $9,900 for two people — broken down per person, that’s a little more than the cost of your average 1-BR Manhattan apartment right now — the Scarlet Summer Season Pass will buy you four weeks on the Mediterranean aboard the award-winning line’s Scarlet Lady in a balcony cabin.
The pass is priced roughly 30 percent cheaper than normal. The offer will be available June-September of this year, Travel & Leisure first reported. All journeys will begin in Barcelona and include stops in Ibiza.
“If you’ve been wondering if your work-life balance could use a little more life, we have the voyage offer for you,” an announcement read.
“Inspired by Richard Branson’s belief and track record that brilliant work is best paired with a hearty dose of fun, experience for yourself how four weeks exploring coastal towns in France, Spain, and Italy might be the exhilarating buoy you’ve been needing.”

Fares on any Virgin Voyage include free internet and free coffee; passholders will be given a $10 credit at the onboard espresso bar as well as laundry service — you’ve got to look good on those video calls.
Other exclusive passholder benefits will include priority access to restaurant reservations and shore excursions, and access to a members-only sundeck.
Ready to go? Fill out this form online – you’ll get an answer within 72 business hours. But make sure you’re all in, because the pass is non-refundable.
The upstart, adults-only line, which launched in 2021 with one ship, is now up to three — Travel + Leisure recently called it one of the best cruise lines for 2024.
