Noteworthy items during the Mets’ Grapefruit League action on Friday:

Pete Alonso looked in midseason form.

The slugging first baseman took a hit away from Josh Bell with a diving play in the fifth inning and blasted a 410-foot home run in the sixth.

Into the Voit

Luke Voit, in camp on a minor-league deal, went 0-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts.

The former Yankee has started slowly, 1-for-18 in the Grapefruit League.

Caught my eye

José Iglesias, also signed to a minor-league pact, had a pair of singles and a smooth, charging play to retire Bryan De La Cruz.

Saturday’s schedule
