The Giants sure have figured out how to maintain consistency at long snapper.
Casey Kreiter re-signed for a fifth season with the team Sunday, on the eve of free agency, The Post confirmed.
Before Kreiter, Zak DeOssie handled long-snapping duties from the middle of his rookie season in 2007 through his final season before retirement in 2019.
There was some thought that new special teams coordinator Michael Ghobrial might have other names in mind but it’s hard for anyone in the league to match Kreiter’s steadiness.
Kreiter, who made a Pro Bowl with the Broncos, has signed nine straight one-year contracts in his career.
Kreiter, 33, is the first of the Giants’ 30 free agents to re-sign this offseason.
Other teams can begin negotiating with players at noon Monday.
