Michael Jordan has to apologize to me on ‘international television’: Isiah Thomas

What channel should Isiah Thomas be tuning into?

The two-time NBA champ with the Pistons recently went on “The Draymond Green Show” and revealed what it would take for him to bury his feud with Michael Jordan after the Bulls legend ripped his rival in “The Last Dance” docu-series.

“This dude got on international television and called me a–hole, somebody who’s been really good to him,” Thomas told Green. “And until he apologizes on international television, there is no conversation. You can’t apologize and have a private dinner when you embarrassed me publicly. If you didn’t mean it, say it publicly. If you meant it, I understand. I’m good with that.”

In the 2020 series, which was centered around Jordan’s memories of the Bulls’ 90s dynasty, he talked about the rumor that he was responsible for keeping Thomas off the 1992 Olympic team.

Jordan denied that, but didn’t hold back his feelings on Thomas.

“The reaction of the public has kind of changed his perspective,” said Jordan, whose Bulls had multiple playoff wars with Thomas’ Bad Boy Pistons.

“You can show me anything you want, there’s no way you can convince me he wasn’t an a–hole.”

There is no evidence that Jordan didn’t mean it as he’s now had over three years to set the record straight if he believed his thoughts on Thomas were somehow taken out of context.

Despite the personal dislike between the two being part of NBA lore, Thomas said he did not realize that Jordan had felt that way until the docu-series was released.

“Even until I watched ‘The Last Dance,’ I didn’t realize that he felt the way he felt the way about me,” Thomas said on “The Club Shay” podcast in 2020.

“I never had no bad words with him or anything like that. We played. His team won, my team won. We went home, they went home.”
