Amazon’s Big Spring Sale is a multi-day event — not the typical two-day duration that we’ve commonly seen for Prime Day — and is one where you can expect thousands of items to feature slashed-down prices. Better yet, we anticipate the product assortment to be both seasonal and evergreen simultaneously; you may find lawn mowers on sale but also year-round cookware sets you’ve been wanting to get your hands on. Other early deals include allergy medicine discounts, DeWalt tool sales, incredible prices on AirPods and more.

What is the Amazon Big Spring Sale?

The Amazon Big Spring Sale is the U.S. market’s first-ever event. Previously, an Amazon Spring Sale has been enacted in the UK, while the retailer has primarily held itself to its much-anticipated Prime Day event (typically in July) and, in recent years, a fall event (typically in October). Historically, the latter has been called either Prime Big Deal Days or the Prime Early Access Sale.

This springtime, we anticipate Amazon to focus on seasonality. Must-have deals should be expected in niche categories, like spring cleaning, self-care items, festival fashion, Easter dresses, outdoor patio furniture and more.

When is the Amazon Big Spring Sale?

The Amazon Big Spring Sale will take place from Wednesday, March 20 to Monday, March 25, beginning at 12:00 a.m. EST on March 20 and ending at 12:00 a.m. EST on March 25.

The best part? You’ll have the weekend to shop. And, as mentioned, you’ll have even longer to access the deals; instead of the atypical two-day span, you’ll have a total of six full days to shop Amazon best-sellers and act-fast Lightning Deals that will be available for a truncated time.

Do I need to be a Prime member to shop for the Amazon Big Spring Sale?

No! You do not need to be an Amazon Prime member to shop the Amazon Big Spring Sale that’ll run from March 20 to 25. However, we highly suggest you sign up for a 30-day free trial if you haven’t already. This way, you’ll experience fast, two-day shipping and access to Prime Video, in addition to other benefits.
