Odell Beckham joins growing receiver market after Ravens release

Add Odell Beckham Jr.’s name to the growing list of veteran wide receivers hitting the free agency market.

The former first-round pick has been released by the Ravens after one season in Baltimore, in which he tallied 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games.

Beckham has been designated as a post-June 1 release that will spread his dead cap money between 2024 and ’25.

The 31-year-old wideout originally agreed to a one-year, $15 million deal with the Ravens in April 2023 after missing the 2022 season to recover from a torn ACL sustained in the Rams’ Super Bowl LVI win in February 2022.

Beckham and the Ravens reworked his contract in January to remove the void years, Ravens Salary Cap reported at the time, adding on X, “This revision will allow them to use a post 6/1 release if an ext isn’t reached by March 14th.”

With Beckham now on the market, he joins a crowded receiver field that also includes former Charger Mike Williams, who was released Wednesday after seven seasons with the team, and Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, whom The Post’s Ryan Dunleavy ranked as one of the top 30 free agents available.

Tyler Boyd, Hunter Renfrow and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are also up for grabs.

Former Jaguars receiver Calvin Ridley was removed from the board Wednesday after agreeing to a four-year, $92 million contract with the Titans.

The 12th overall pick by the Giants in the 2014 NFL Draft, Beckham spent the first five years of his career in New York, where he exploded onto the scene with an infamous one-handed catch against the Cowboys in November 2014.

The Giants extended Beckham with a five-year, $95 million contract in August 2018, only to trade him to the Browns in March of the following year.

Beckham’s time in Cleveland was short-lived as an ACL injury derailed his 2020 campaign and he was released from the team in November 2021 after weeks of uncertainty.

He then joined the Rams during their Super Bowl and won his first-ever championship.

Beckham has 566 total career receptions for 7,932 yards and 59 touchdowns.
