Big East Tournament 2024: Where to buy tickets to see St. John’s at MSG

And then there were four.

After last night’s pair of underdog upsets — No. 5 St. John’s and No. 7 Providence — and wins for favorites No. 1 UConn and No. 3 Marquette, the stage has officially been set for the 2024 Big East Tournament semifinals.

Tipoff for UConn vs. St. John’s is scheduled to take place at at Madison Square Garden on Friday, March 15 at 5:30 p.m.

If all goes according to plan, Marquette will face off against Providence at 8 p.m.

The winners of the Friday doubleheader square up against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 16.

And if you want to witness possible hoops history — St. John’s hasn’t advanced to the semifinals since 2000 (!), Providence is the first No. 7 seed to get this far in seven years — it isn’t too late to scoop up last-minute tickets.

At the time of publication, Friday semifinal tickets start at $137 before fees on Vivid Seats.

The lowest price on tickets for Saturday’s finals are $98 before fees.

Coming into the game, the 29-3 UConn Huskies are ranked No. 2 in the country and have won five in a row.

Rick Pitino and RJ Luis’ upstart St. John’s Red Storm sits at 20-12 on the year after their win over Seton Hall but are just as hot as UConn; they’ve racked up six consecutive victories.

The Huskies are 9.5-point favorites, according to CBS Sports.

About Marquette vs. Providence

The 21-12 Providence Friar’s shocked the world with their 78-73 victory over the heavily-favored Creighton in the quarterfinals.

Now, they take on the 24-8 Marquette Golden Eagles in the semifinals. Like Providence, they’ve also won two games in a row.

CBS Sports has Marquette as a 4.5-point favorite over Providence.
