The Big Apple is the third most expensive state to get your Irish on, a new survey says. 

On average, New Yorkers each spend $67 on drinks while indulging in March 17 shenanigans — 40% higher than the $48 national average, according to the Casino.ca study.

One reveler said they’d drop a $200 pot of gold on libations – the most out of all 800 Empire State residents polled. 

Connecticut revelers claimed the no. 1 title of biggest St. Paddy’s Day spenders by forking over an average of $94 per person on cocktails, followed by Nevada residents, who spend $70.

A whopping 40% of New York respondents said they planned to channel their inner Irishman by consuming solely Guinness stout on the holiday, the study found. 

While the average number of drinks a New Yorker needs in order to shake their shamrocks is three, the tipsiest respondent in the state said they consume 15 cocktails during the Celtic celebrations.
