Singer Sessi allegedly driving with phony diplomatic plates pulled out of vehicle by Florida cops in wild video

A Latin singer was dragged from her vehicle and arrested Tuesday when she was caught allegedly driving with a bogus diplomatic tag — before her boyfriend was busted for the same crime.

Cecilia Selina Mercado, 32, who performs under the stage name Sessi, was pulled over in her Audi Q5 for a traffic violation, according to Local 10.

When Sunny Isles Beach police asked the singer to provide her driver’s license, she handed them her passport and claimed to have ‘immunity.’

Video of the initial encounter, recorded by Mercado’s passenger, showed an officer holding her arm and asking her to step out of the car.

“Please bring your supervisor now, you’re reaching inside our vehicle, I feel threatened!” the passenger, identified by the outlet as Scott Huss, yells in the video.

“You’re reaching inside our vehicle, I feel threatened, I feel threatened, I feel threatened!” Huss yelled. “Get off of her right now, get off of her right now”

“They have no jurisdiction over you,” Huss added. “She is not a United States citizen, they have no jurisdiction.”

The heated exchange continues between the singer and cops, to which the Huss tells them they are “going to get fired from your job, and she is going to get $250,000.”

Mercado, who was born in the Bronx, is ripped out of the Audi after she refused to comply.

She was then seen being put into cuffs, with the officers telling her if she only “complied,” things would not have escalated.

“I did. I gave you my passport,” the singer said.

Mercado told officers the vehicle was registered with the US Department of State.

However, detectives discovered that Mercado’s plates which claimed she was a “diplomat” were fake, according to the outlet.

“The female driver shown in the video was stopped by our officers for traffic violations. She then stated she had ‘immunity.’ She repeatedly refused to comply with officers’ orders and was placed in handcuffs,” the department said in a statement.

Mercado was released on a $2,500 bond Wednesday.

She told reporters outside the jail she was a “United States national” and confirmed she was born in the Bronx.

When asked about the fake plates, the singer stood her ground and said they were legit.

“They are not fake. They are completely registered to my private trust and my private vehicle which, by law, I am allowed to have a vehicle under a trust,” the singer said.

She is charged with having a counterfeit registration, license plate, or sticker on a motor vehicle.

Mercado’s boyfriend, Andres Lopez-Escobar, picked her up from jail on Wednesday –in a car with fake diplomatic plates, according to the outlet.

Police pulled the car over, needing to bust open the driver’s window after he refused to open it.

Lopez-Escobar, 22, faces charges of driving without a valid driver’s license, having a counterfeit license plate, motor vehicle registration, or sticker, and resisting an officer without violence, according to the outlet.

Police also shared that officers pulled multiple guns out of the car.

“They had guns to the car; I just got out of jail,” Mercado said after her driver was arrested. “This is not funny. This is messed up.”

The Bronx-born singer posted a series of Instagram stories to her 195,000 followers on Instagram that people are saying “false things” and that she has always been a “good community girl,” according to the Daily Mail

“I will not give up and stand my ground too many things going on this world especially me, I have been such a community girl and so good to my community… not okay! I have family in NYC police department.”
