LSU women’s basketball forward Angel Reese shared a concerning message about alleged AI photos of her.
Taking to her X account on Tuesday, the 2023 NCAA champ claimed there are fake AI images of her, but she did not reveal further details.
“Creating fake AI pictures of me is crazy and weird AF!” Reese wrote in one post.
“Like I know I’m fine & seem to have an appeal to some but I’m literally 21 and yall doing this bs when I would neverrrrrr,” she said in a follow-up message.
It’s unclear where the alleged photos came from.
Fans were supportive of Reese, who’s also a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, in the comments.
“Angel just keep winning,” one person wrote, while another added, “Focus on your goal! Ignore the internet.”
Reese and the No. 3 seed Lady Tigers are preparing to face the No. 14 Rice Owls in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on March 22.
The game will take place at LSU’s home court at Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge.
Reese — a junior, who has one year of eligibility remaining — is averaging a double-double for her third consecutive season.
The Baltimore native hasn’t said if she plans on declaring for the 2024 WNBA Draft, which will be held on April 15 in Brooklyn.
Players must make their decision in March, unless their they are still playing in the postseason — which then, they will have until 48 hours after their final game to declare for the draft.
Reese’s decision might not come until next month if LSU makes the Final Four, taking place on April 5 and 7.
The Tigers are vying to be repeat champions after beating Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes 102-85 in last year’s national championship game — when Reese was named the Most Outstanding Player.
