Melania Trump hints she’ll soon rejoin Donald on campaign trail: ‘Stay tuned’

Former first lady Melania Trump made a rare public appearance alongside Donald Trump Tuesday and indicated that she may soon join the presumptive Republican presidential nominee on the 2024 campaign trail.

“Stay tuned,” Melania told reporters when asked about a potential return to the stump circuit with her husband.

The couple was spotted heading to the polls together in West Palm Beach, to vote in the Florida GOP primary.

“I voted for Donald Trump,” the former president said.

Trump, 77, all but locked up the GOP nomination earlier this month, passing the delegate threshold needed to advance to the general election race.

He is expected to officially be named the GOP nominee at the Republican National Convention in July.

Melania Trump was noticeably absent from her husband’s Super Tuesday celebration at Mar-a-Lago earlier this month.

Last December, a source told Page Six that Melania was going to “step up” her political appearances in 2024 in an effort to help Donald secure the presidency.

The Trumpworld source claimed that Melania, 53, was “feeling more sure of herself — as both her husband’s representative and her own position as a diplomatic figure after her positive reception at the [Rosalynn] Carter funeral” last November.

The following month she appeared at a citizens’ naturalization ceremony at the National Archives in Washington, DC.

After casting his vote, the former president weighed in on his former trade adviser, Peter Navarro, reporting to prison in Miami to serve his four month sentence for a contempt of Congress conviction.

“He was treated very unfairly,” Donald Trump said.

“He did a tremendous job with respect to China and trade and they treated him very badly. The Biden administration treated him very, very badly. It’s a shame. But that’s the way it is,” he added.

Trump also addressed reports that his pardoned 2016 campaign chairman Paul Manafort would be returning to the fold.

“I don’t know anything about it,” he said. “But he was another person that was treated badly and he was a patriot. But we’ll see what happens with that.”

When asked about his recent comments accusing Jewish people who vote for Democrats of hating “their religion” and Israel, Trump said, “I think that the Democrats have been very, very opposed to Jewish people – that’s true – and to Israel.”

He also noted that he “couldn’t care less” about former Vice President Mike Pence’s declaration that he wouldn’t endorse his former boss’s White House bid

“We need patriots. We need strong people in our country. Our country is going downhill very fast, very rapidly,” Trump said.
