NYC flooding live updates: FDNY rescues passengers from submerged Mercedes, straphangers cross river of garbage on makeshift bridge

FDNY firefighters rescued an unidentified man and woman from a black Mercedes submerged beneath an overpass on the westbound 65th Street Central Park Traverse Saturday.

Exclusive photos show the luxury vehicle half-underwater with an M72 MTA bus behind it.

Meanwhile, desperate NYC straphangers did their best Indiana Jones impression to cross a flooded subway platform on a “bridge” made of wooden crates.

Riders at the 2nd Avenue F stop at the corner of East Houston and Allen streets found a giant puddle of rainwater filled with trash waiting for them when they descended the bottom of the stairs.
