Trump hawks Bibles: ‘Let’s Make America Pray Again’

Donald Trump has long harped on how the Bible topped his beloved “The Art of the Deal” book.

Now he’s working to cash in on the sacred religious text, hawking his own copies dubbed “God Bless the USA Bible” for $59.99 a piece to herald Easter.

“Happy Holy Week! Let’s Make America Pray Again. As we lead into Good Friday and Easter, I encourage you to get a copy of the God Bless The USA Bible,” Trump, 77, posted on Truth Social.

Bibles can go for under $10 on Amazon. But those aren’t Trump-endorsed King James versions of the Bible and don’t have his blessing.

“This is the only Bible endorsed by President Trump!” an FAQ answer for the “God Bless the USA Bible” website explained.

To set itself apart, the Trump-endorsed Bible features a copy of the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, the Pledge of Allegiance and a handwritten chorus to “God Bless The USA” by Lee Greenwood.

Greenwood also endorsed this copy of the Bible. His song has become a staple of Trump rallies.

“Many of you have never read them and don’t know the liberties and rights you have as Americans and how you are being threatened to lose those rights,” Trump said in a promotion video, referring to the founding documents included in his new Bible.

“Religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing from this country.”

The description says, “Easy-to-read, large print, and slim design, this Bible invites you to explore God’s Word anywhere, any time.”

The Trump-endorsed Bible features copies of several founding documents.

Trump, who has worked hard to court Evangelical voters, has a storied history with the Bible. Back in 2016, he bungled the pronunciation of 2 Corinthians (Second Corinthians), by saying “Two Corinthians” during a sojourn at Liberty University.

On occasion, he has attacked the pope, argued that he doesn’t like to ask God for forgiveness, and shared social media posts likening him to the “second coming of God.”

“All Americans need a Bible in their home and I have many. It’s my favorite book. It’s a lot of people’s favorite book,” Trump added in the video. “This Bible is a reminder that the biggest thing we have to bring … to make America great again is our religion.”

The 45th president has maintained that the Bible is his favorite book.

“That’s my second favorite book of all time,” Trump told his supporters back in 2015, referring to “The Art of the Deal.” “Do you know what my first is? The Bible.”

Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman alleged that Trump wanted to be sworn into office on a copy of “The Art of the Deal” instead of the Bible — which his spokesperson vehemently denied.

Despite his rhetorical brutality to his political foes, past trysts with porn stars, alleged affairs against his wives, etc., Trump has cast himself as a champion of God and religious values.

Amid the mounting costs of his legal bills, Trump has turned to several endeavors to bring in the case including selling T-shirts emblazoned with his own mugshot, digital trading cards painting him as a superhero, golden shoes and more.
