Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse live updates: What was on the ship that hit the bridge?

Divers in Baltimore have resumed recovery efforts Wednesday on the scene of the shocking collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge a day earlier — and they’re dealing with “a treacherous situation” of frigid temperatures, tides, lack of visibility and mangled metal in the Patapsco River waters, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore said.

A truck was recovered from the water around noon Wednesday, according to The Associated Press.

The Key Bridge collapsed around 1:30 a.m. ET Tuesday after being hit by a container ship in what was quickly declared a mass-casualty event.

The Coast Guard suspended search and rescue efforts Tuesday night, pivoting to a recovery mission as six missing construction workers who were on the bridge during the catastrophic collapse were presumed dead, officials said. Two other people had been rescued that morning.
