‘Frustrated’ Ridley Scott blocked from entering his home as agents raid neighbor Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ property
A “frustrated” Ridley Scott was unable to get inside his sprawling Los Angeles home Monday as federal agents raided his neighbor Sean “Diddy” Combs’ property amid a sex trafficking investigation.
The “Gladiator” director, 86, was spotted speaking to cops while standing behind a cordoned-off area marked with yellow tape outside his plush Calif. pad.
Scott’s home sits alongside the troubled rapper’s, located in the upmarket Holmby Hills area which is nestled near Bel Air and Beverly Hills.
The A-list neighborhood has been home to some famous faces over the years, including Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, and Michael Jackson.
In photos obtained by TMZ, the “Blade Runner” director appeared “seriously frustrated” with police officers who refused him access during the raid, the outlet notes.
Images show the “Napoleon” filmmaker winding down his car window to speak to someone before getting out of the vehicle and standing on the street behind yellow tape.
The Post has reached out to Scott’s reps for comment.
That day, both LA and Miami law enforcement officers moved in to seize Combs’ phones and computers as part of a “federal sex trafficking investigation.”
Diddy’s sons Justin, 30, and King, 25, Combs were briefly detained after being removed from the LA house, but were not arrested and are not thought to be part of the probe.
Law enforcement officers told The Post that similar raids would take place in both New York and Chicago.
“Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available,” HSI told The Post on Monday.
Diddy was later spotted pacing back and forth outside the Customs office at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport.
Here's what we know about the allegations against Sean "Diddy" Combs
- Sean “Diddy” Combs’ homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by Homeland Security amid a possible connection with an ongoing sex-trafficking investigation.
- Authorities targeted the rapper’s homes to seize phones and computers, sources told The Post.
- At least four Jane Does and one John Doe have been interviewed by New York prosecutors in connection to sex-trafficking allegations and a RICO case, sources told Rolling Stone.
- Combs’ ex-girlfriend Cassie (Cassandra Ventura) filed a lawsuit against him in November 2023 on several allegations, including rape and physical abuse for over a decade.
- Combs and Cassie settled the lawsuit one day after she filed it.
- In November 2023, the rapper was accused of drugging, filming and sexually assaulting a woman on a date in 1991.
- The lawsuit describes how Combs drove the alleged victim to a music studio “where she could not get out of the car” before taking her “to a place he was staying to sexually assault her.”
- A third woman filed a lawsuit against the celebrity in November 2023, claiming that he and singer-songwriter Aaron Hall took turns sexually assaulting her and a friend in the early 1990s.
- In December 2023, Combs was hit with a fourth sexual assault lawsuit that accused him and others of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl at his NYC recording studio after drugging her and supplying her with alcohol.
In footage obtained by TMZ, Combs and his pals were briefly stopped and questioned by investigators.
Following the raid, the rapper’s attorney Aaron Dyer blasted the “military-level force” federal authorities used to search through the “I’ll Be Missing You” hitmaker’s properties.
The hip hop mogul is being investigated for sex-trafficking according to law enforcement sources, allegations which his attorney has blasted as a “witch hunt.”
“Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences,” Dyer told TMZ.
“There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated.”
Diddy was not arrested or charged “but spoke to and cooperated with authorities,” his lawyer said. His travel has not been restricted in any way, he added.
The Homeland Security Investigations Human Trafficking Task Force conducted the raids based on a search warrant issued by the Southern District of New York.
On Tuesday, the rapper had seemingly disappeared along with his private jet.
