Ex-hostage bravely confirms Hamas rapes, shaming deniers like Rep. Jamaal Bowman

The latest searing testimony from a freed Israeli hostage confirms yet again the bottomless depravity of Hamas: Amit Soussana, the first captive to speak publicly about these crimes, was raped at gunpoint by one of her captors.

The rape was only one of the cruelties Sousanna suffered during her 55 days in captivity; she was beaten and humiliated repeatedly by the terror cadres so beloved of elite academics, famous actors and musicians, the online left, and the goons who block roads and bridges “for Palestine.”

These are the same people who believed Shani Louk, the music festival attendee murdered by Hamas, deserved what she got.

Democratic voters from Dearborn to Berkeley, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and President Biden himself have happily co-signed with Hamas as well.

How else to interpret Schumer’s call for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s resignation and Biden permitting the passage of a vile UN resolution against Israel?

Above all, Soussana’s harrowing truth gives the lie to the legions of rape deniers and Hamas apologists found across the left, including in the media

When the New York Times ran a story about Hamas’ sexual violence, staff revolted.

Left-wing website the Intercept ran an interference campaign for Hamas.

Ex-Bernie Sanders aide Briahna Joy Gray took to X to cast doubt on the crimes and disingenuously attack Israel “for not seriously investigating claims of rape and collecting rape kits.”

“Squad” member, 9/11 truther-poet and fire-alarm insurrectionist Rep. Jamaal Bowman was caught on recently surfaced video shouting at a November rally that “they” — no prizes for guessing who! — “still keep using that lie” by condemning Hamas’ sexual atrocities.

(Did he get bonus points for the Hitler-style arm chops he made as he screamed?)

Remember: Even the institutionally antisemitic United Nations confirmed the reports of sexual violence on Oct. 7, though it delayed unconscionably in doing so.

These crimes are not up for debate now and never were

The left’s pretense otherwise — and the desperate efforts of US electeds to normalize Hamas — make it blindingly clear there’s only one right side in this war.

And they are aggressively taking the wrong one.
