UNC player reveals bizarre bathroom ode to LeBron James before crushing March Madness loss

There were signs North Carolina would have a really s—ty time in the Sweet 16.

With the Tar Heels playing in the NCAA Tournament this week at Crypto.com, the home of the Lakers, Clippers, Kings and Sparks — one North Carolina player revealed his admiration for Lakers superstar LeBron James in a crappy way.

“I just took a s–t where Bron takes a s–t,” said one Tar Heel, according to the Fayetteville Observer.

We’re going to guess that quote will not make its way into the “One Shining Moment” montage, but it certainly is a contender for the obscure quote of the year.

Sure, it must be exciting to share the floor that James calls home.

But sharing the same bathrooms?

Well, to each their own.

But at least that memory will stay with the unspecified player since North Carolina’s dreams of winning the national title went down the toilet Thursday night.

The Tar Heels had been gifted a relatively easy path to the Final Four after the West’s No. 2 seed Arizona — which seemingly would have a home-court advantage with the easy commute to Los Angeles — stunningly lost to No. 6 seed Clemson in the night’s first game.

North Carolina just had to beat No. 4 seed Alabama to set up an Elite 8 matchup with an ACC foe.

But the Tar Heels lost the track race against the Crimson Tide, 89-87.

North Carolina held an eight-point halftime lead before Alabama rallied to take an 82-77 advantage with 3:46 remaining.

The Tar Heels produced an 8-0 run to claim the lead, but Alabama took the lead for good on a layup with 39 seconds remaining that put the Crimson Tide ahead, 87-85.

A turnover on North Carolina’s next possession, followed by two Alabama free throws, all but sealed the Tar Heels’ premature exit from the tournament.
