Florida man arrested and beaten after making fun of disabled guest at Disney World

A Florida man drunkenly made fun of a disabled person at a Disney World restaurant — and then got arrested when a scuffle with her family started, according to cops.

Brent George, 61, allegedly approached a table of four at Belle Vue Lounge inside Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, where he allegedly taunted a girl with Down Syndrome, the complaint said about the January incident.

Candace Boyette Goldberg, the girl’s mother, allegedly confronted George and demanded to know if he was making fun of her daughter, who was not identified.

George allegedly shoved the woman twice before slapping Maria Ayalde, the woman’s daughter-in-law, in the face when she tried to calm the escalation, the complaint said.

The Sebring, Florida resident then allegedly punched Ayalde’s husband, Wesley Goldberg, in the neck, who returned a jab to his face.

A bystander intervened and wrapped George in a bear hug in an effort to remove him from the eatery, cops said.

George told police he had been “struck by a glass cup” during the fight, which a witness backed up, according to the complaint. He also had several cuts on his face.

Police noted that no glass was found at the scene.

He, his wife, and two friends had been drinking at the bar prior to the incident and told police he was having a “good time” with the family of four before they attacked him, the complaint read.

The Ohio native requested to press charges against the group of four, but declined to provide police a statement.

The four others provided written statements to police and requested to seek prosecution.

George was arrested for striking the family and charged with four counts of battery. He was taken to Orange County Jail, where he spent the night.

His wife, Marla George, paid his $4,000 bond the next day.

George has pleaded not guilty, according to court documents.
