Masters Girl Aaliyah Kikumoto had some difficulties trying to go viral again at tournament

The viral Masters Girl is back.

Aaliyah Kikumoto — the 20-year-old Texas Tech dancer who went viral while attending last year’s tournament — returned to Augusta National with her family and sported her green Masters hat and a white skirt and Nike sneakers, which was similar to her outfit at the course in 2023.

Kikumoto was famously dubbed the Masters Girl after she was spotted taking in the action last year at the 16th hole — and social media was enamored with her presence.

But things were a bit different this year after Kikumoto’s rise to fame, which included a model offer, social media attention and NIL deals.

Kikumoto, who was meeting her family at the Masters after flying from school in Lubbock, missed her flight to Augusta due to flight delays, and her luggage was lost, her father, Charles Kikumoto, told OutKick.

“As you can imagine there are no direct flights from Lubbock to Augusta, so our daughter had to fly from Lubbock to Dallas to Charlotte to Augusta and was supposed to land just before midnight on Friday night — also on American Airlines,” he said. “Her flight in Dallas gets delayed with issues (not weather related) so she misses her flight to Augusta.  She gets a text that she is rebooked from Charlotte to Augusta on Sunday versus being there as originally booked on Friday night.

“So it is Saturday morning and Masters Girl is now here on Augusta grounds and with a couple hours of sleep we can’t complain.”

Kikumoto — a Denver native and member of the Texas Tech Pom Squad — leaned into her newfound fame when she got some camera time while attending the 2023 Masters with her father at Augusta National.

The brunette was seen taking in the action behind Jon Rahm and Brooks Koepka at the 16th tee box last year and she exploded on social media.

After that, the student-athlete  signed with BSX Media, a mentorship and model management company, which introduced her as a new client last April.

Kikumoto currently has more than 42,000 followers on Instagram, and she’s an ambassador for Prime, the energy drink founded by internet personalities Logan Paul — the WWE’s United States champion — and KSI.
