Videos capture Israeli fighter jets, warships downing Iranian missiles, drones

Dramatic videos show Israeli fighter jets and warships downing some of the 350 drones and missiles fired by Iran.

The Israel Defense Forces shared the black-and-white footage Sunday, showing several slow-moving suicide drones being obliterated through the cross-hairs of the pilots’ targeting systems.

“This is what a 99% interception rate looks like. Operational footage from the Aerial Defense System protecting the Israeli airspace,” the IDF said on X of its stunning success stopping the vast majority of Iran’s attacks.

Another video shows an Israeli warship in action during the aerial assault.

“A Sa’ar 6-class corvette successfully intercepted a UAV that approached Israeli territory from the southeast using the ‘C-Dome’ Defense System earlier this evening,” the IDF wrote.

The C-Dome Naval point Defense System is the Israeli navy’s version of the IDF’s vaunted Iron Dome air and missile defense system and is integrated on corvette warships.

The Israeli military managed to shoot down 99% of the suicide drones and missiles that the Islamic Republic launched at the country Saturday night.

It used an array of sophisticated weapons, including the IDF’s David’s Sling, Iron Dome and Arrow missiles, with assistance from the US, UK, France and even Jordan.

Several drones also were launched by Iran-backed groups from Iraq and Yemen, as well as about 40 rockets by Hezbollah from Lebanon, the IDF said.

The unprecedented attack came after Tehran vowed to avenge seven members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, including two generals, who were killed in an alleged Israeli airstrike on a building near Iran’s embassy in Damascus, Syria, on April 1.
