Mom brand uses porn star in NSFW pregnancy and postpartum products ad: ‘Women deserve better’

Mommy knows breast. And she’s making her private parts public in the name of pregnancy and postpartum health.

Asa Akira, 39, an adult film star and mother of two, has been tapped by motherhood brand, Frida, to bare her bust and more in ads for its pre- and postnatal products.

“I’m going to be using this semen here,” says the porn actress, from New York, as she lies back and slides an insemination applicator into her body.

The injector is presumably full of faux fluid for demonstration purposes. Frida did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

“It’s actually just like inserting a tampon,” adds Akira while pushing the device deeper toward the uterus. “It’s super easy to do with one hand.”

The NSWF clip is nestled behind an age-verification wall on the company’s newest site, Frida Uncensored.

It’s the first of the seven “how-to” videos from Frida founder, Chelsea Hirschhorn.

She says the series of unblushing tutorials — including titles such as “How to cleanse your postpartum vagina” and “ How to soothe engorged breasts” — is meant to help women better care for their bodies before, during and after gestation.

“Our whole lives were taught how not to get pregnant,” said Hirschhorn in an Instagram announcement of her imprint’s latest venture with Akira as its leading lady.

“But when it comes time to actually try and have a baby, women are left to Google ‘cycle tracking’ or ‘best sex positions,’” continued the brunette. “And all we find [is] sensitive content [and] blurred out images.”

She, too, scolded mainstream and social media platforms for censoring educational advertisements that showcased feminine body parts while allowing sexualized nudity to go viral.

“While the ‘Free the Nip’ campaign is great,” Hirschhorn said, “women deserve more.”

Moms worldwide have long echoed similar sentiments.

Mom of one Mia Somerville scored TikTok-superstardom in January 2023 after giving over 5 million cyber watchers an unabashed glimpse at her post-pregnancy physique.

“Becoming a mother means you’re going through some huge life changes, both mentally and physically,” said Somerville, who boldly showed off her sagging stomach in a clip. “We’re not exposed to real bodies in the mainstream media.”

Hirschhorn hopes spotlighting Akira will be a positive step towards changes. And the uncovered content seems to be clicking with Frida fans.

“Where was all this when I was getting ready to have a baby?!” cheered an Instagram commenter. “Had I known how to do a perineal massage to maybe avoid tearing, I would have been all over that and maybe I could actually have walked up a flight of stairs within 4 weeks of having my tot — y’all are a godsend.”

“Women deserve more” applauded another. “Educational, empowering….I wish I had this sooner! Could’ve saved me from many dead-end google searches.”

“As a mom of two little girls,” added a separate, yet equally grateful woman, “this makes me have hope for their future.”
