Damian Lillard’s estranged wife shades GloRilla after rapper’s flirtatious photo, DUI arrest

Kay’La Lillard has entered the chat.

Damian Lillard’s estranged wife had jokes about GloRilla’s DUI arrest in Gwinnett County, Ga., on Tuesday — two months after the Memphis rapper expressed interest in the Bucks’ star guard.

In a post shared Wednesday on her Instagram Stories, Kay’La re-shared a photo of GloRilla’s apparent mugshot with the caption: “FreeGloLillard” and a crying laughing emoji.

Kay’La added the hashtag “#sisterwife” and a shoulder-shrugging emoji.

GloRilla, whose real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, was arrested early Tuesday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence, consuming/possessing an open alcoholic beverage container and a separate traffic charge.

The conversation around GloRilla and Lillard — who filed for divorce Oct. 2, 2023, after two years of marriage — began during the NBA All-Star festivities earlier this year.

At the time, she posted a photo of herself and Lillard, 33, and expressed interest in the 2024 All-Star Game MVP.

“Whoever she is can’t whoop me so I really dgaf,” GloRilla wrote on X.

When asked last month by TMZ if he reached out to GloRilla following the message, Lillard said, “No comment.”

GloRilla also played coy this month when Shannon Sharpe brought up a message she shared on X while making an appearance on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast.

“At the end of the day, the day gon’ end,” the 24-year-old rapper said.

“OK I’ma leave it at that,” Sharpe replied. “Because he said no comment [and] you said, ‘Hey at the end of the day, it’s the end of the day.'”

Lillard and Kay’La were college sweethearts and tied the knot in September 2021.

They went on to have three children together: son Damian Jr., 5, and 3-year-old twins, daughter Kali and son Kalii.

Lillard, an eight-time NBA All-Star, filed for divorce less than a week after he was traded from the Trail Blazers to the Bucks after 11 seasons in Portland.
