The sale for his former home, where he resided between 1979 to 1984, began this week.
With a listing price of $13.5 million, bids for this iconic property opened on April 26 and will close at 7 p.m. on May 15.
The sprawling estate, originally constructed in 1915 by the architect John C. Austin, boasts a storied past.
Spanning more than 10,500 square feet on a sprawling 1.5-acre lot, this residence has also become a favorite haunt of Hollywood elites, according to Concierge Auctions, which is handling the sale.
Veiled by privacy hedges, Hollywood heavyweights such as Sylvester Stallone and Clint Eastwood have stayed there, along with former Pres. Barack Obama.
Stepping onto the property, guests are greeted by a stone staircase leading to the entrance. Inside, the home features stained glass windows, imported Italian marble and original French crystal chandeliers.
The mansion’s architectural splendors also include a semi-circular solarium and a pergola walkway.
The auction listing paints a picture of refined elegance, inviting prospective buyers to entertain in the formal dining and living rooms, or in the third-floor ballroom, which is complete with a fully equipped bar.

As of Wednesday morning, the current bid stands at $7.75 million, requiring a $200,000 bidder deposit and bids in $250,000 increments.
