Paul Pierce hospitalized with gruesome finger injury he shared on social media

Don’t look at Paul Pierce’s Instagram page while eating.

The former NBA star posted pictures of a gruesome injury to his fingers on Friday night.

He first posted a photo of himself laying in a hospital bed on his Instagram story, but then followed with three gory up-close pictures of his fingers, which were covered in blood and mangled.

One of Pierce’s fingertips was facing the wrong way and their appeared to be a long deep cut on one of his fingers.

Pierce did not reveal much about what had happened or what his injuries were, other than that he had broken fingers.

“I’m good by the way just broke a couple fingers gonna have surgery on one,” Pierce captioned one of the photos.

Pierce later wrote on X that the surgery went well.

“I’m Good surgery went well looks worse then felt I appreciate the concern and love and to my haters I love yall too,” Paul posted.

Earlier in the day, Pierce posted videos of him speaking on Fox Sports’ “Undisputed” and his own podcast.

He raised eyebrows earlier in the week on “Undisputed” when he said “n—a” while live on air.

A 19-year NBA pro, Pierce starred for 15 seasons with the Celtics, with whom he won a championship in 2008, before finishing his career with the Nets, Wizards and Clippers.

He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2021.
