Josh Hart, OG Anunoby ‘on course’ to play through injuries for Knicks’ Game 7 vs. Pacers

It appears as if OG Anunoby and Josh Hart are going to give it a go in Game 7.

The two Knicks stars “are on course” to play in Sunday’s elimination game against the Pacers at the Garden, according to ESPN, to determine who will face the Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals.

A final determination will be made closer to the 3:30 p.m. tipoff, the report said.

Anunoby has been out since Game 2 against the Pacers with a left hamstring strain, and Hart suffered an abdominal strain during Friday’s Game 6 loss in Indianapolis.

The Knicks upgraded Anunoby’s status to questionable on Saturday, a sign that he was planning to try to play with the team’s season on the line.

The 26-year-old defensive stalwart has averaged 16.4 points and 6.8 rebounds in eight playoff games this year.

Hart has been an Iron Man for the Knicks amid their spate of injuries that has seen Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson and Bojan Bogdanovic all lost for the season.

In four games during these NBA playoffs, Hart has played every minute, including the first two games of the Pacers series, which the Knicks won at home.

He played a playoff-low 23:51 in the Knicks’ Game 4 blowout loss when coach Tom Thibodeau pulled the starters before the start of the fourth quarter.

Hart, 29, was limited to 30:45 on Friday while battling through the ab strain.

He has averaged 14.9 points, 11.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 12 playoff games this year.

Star guard Jalen Brunson has also been dealing with a right foot issue that is seemingly worse than he’s been letting on.
