Ryan Garcia reveals engagement to porn star ended in bizarre podcast appearance

Boxer Ryan Garcia said “it wasn’t my best move” when asked about his rumored engagement to adult film star Savannah Bond last month.

During a recent appearance on the “BS w/ Jake Paul” podcast, Garcia said the pair was broken up just over a month after he proposed on a private plane, as seen in a video on shared on his X account.

“Did y’all already break up or something?” Paul asked, to which Garcia, 25, replied, “Yeah.”

It’s been a wild few days for Garcia.

Boxing journalist Dan Rafael reported Thursday that Garcia tested positive for the banned substance ostarine in tests the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA) conducted the day before and after Garcia’s majority decision win over Devin Haney for the WBC Light Welterweight Championship on April 20.

In a video, Garcia said, “Me, Ryan Garcia has never tested positive for drugs in his life,” before he proposed to Bond.

Elsewhere during the podcast appearance, Garcia was asked if he received the ring back and said, “Once you give the ring out you can’t.”

Garcia explained that he proposed after the first or second date, adding, “Shout out Savannah Bond.”

Later in the podcast, Garcia said he was going to FaceTime Bond.

“How long have y’all been dating?” Paul asked, to which Garcia replied, “We’re not dating.”

That’s when Garcia started FaceTiming someone and said, “Baby, my girlfriend. What’re you doing?”

The moment appeared to baffle Paul’s co-hosts, with one asking, “What’s going on?”

Garcia then turned the phone to Paul and Bond said, “You’re the goat! We love you!”

Garcia quipped, “Don’t flirt with another man in front of me that’s crazy.”

After they hung up, Garcia wouldn’t say how the couple met.

A few days after his April engagement to Bond was revealed, Garcia was seen holding hands with model Grace Boor while on a boardwalk in Miami, according to photos obtained by The Post.

All of this comes on the heels of Garcia’s recent divorce from ex Andrea Celina, with whom he shares daughter Bela, 3, and son Henry Leo Garcia, who was born in December 2023.

Garcia announced their divorce in January in a now-deleted post on Instagram, which came on the same day he shared the news of their son’s birth.

The boxer filed for divorce due to “irreconcilable differences,” according to court documents obtained by TMZ. They were together since 2019.
