Mike Tyson gives health update after plane scare with Jake Paul fight looming

Mike Tyson said the scary medical issue he suffered while onboard a plane en route from Miami to Los Angeles is behind him and boxing Jake Paul is still very much on his mind.

“Now feeling 100% even though I don’t need to be to beat Jake Paul,” Tyson, 57, posted on X roughly 48 hours after emergency medical personnel were forced onto the flight after landing.

The Post first reported that Tyson was diagnosed with nausea and dizziness “due to an ulcer flare-up 30 minutes before landing” Sunday.

The flight had messages on passengers’ screens asking for help from a doctor, according to a report from In Touch Weekly.

Passengers were reportedly delayed 25 minutes from exiting the plane due to the situation, saying that Tyson was “a very important passenger.”

Tyson, soon to be 58, is slated to fight Paul, 27, in July in an eight-round boxing match that was officially sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations.

Paul (7-1) said he intends “to end” Tyson, who hasn’t boxed professionally since June 2005.

After this scary emergency that arguably could’ve jeopardize the fight, Paul said that “nothing changed” relating to the status of their bout.

“You love to make s–t up before knowing the facts for clicks/likes,” Paul continued.

The fight will be streamed live on Netflix on July 20 in Arlington, Texas.

“But what I promise to the people on July 20th: Mike will be put to sleep, and he will feel my power,” Paul said earlier this month. “I will go down as the man who put Tyson to sleep for the last time.”

Tyson is just a +130 underdog on BetMGM with Jake Paul on the comeback at -150, assuming the fight still comes to fruition.
