The Royals have undoubtedly been the biggest surprise in baseball so far this season.
They still have 101 games to play, but they are 36-25 and in second place in the AL Central.
This comes after winning just 56 games in 2023, good for the second-worst record in MLB.
It’s clearly been a drastic turnaround for the boys in Kansas City.
A big reason for it? A strong offseason led by GM and President of Baseball Operations J.J. Picollo.
He joined Joel Sherman and Jon Heyman this week on a new episode of “The Show” podcast.

- ADDITIONS: They could potentially use some help in the bullpen. They may have to address the outfield.
- 2015 WORLD SERIES: Aggressiveness with that team and resilience. They weren’t afraid to make a mistake.
