LeBron James next team odds: Bronny NBA Draft rumors fueling Suns, Cavaliers speculation

The Lakers are seemingly willing to do anything in their power to keep all-time great forward LeBron James in Hollywood, and DraftKings likes their chances.

According to the latest next team odds, James is -425 to be a Laker going into the 2024-25 season, representing an 80.95 percent chance he re-signs with one of the league’s flagship teams.

Interestingly enough, the Cleveland Cavaliers are +750 to bring James back into the fold as they head into a critical offseason for their franchise where Donovan Mitchell could be traded, and they already fired coach J.B. Bickerstaff.

His replacement has yet to be hired.

However, it might not be possible until July, when James is a free agent, as coaches such as Jason Kidd (Mavericks) and Tyron Lue (Clippers) have already been given massive contract extensions to remain with their current teams.

Betting on the NBA?

A majority of this speculation is that the Suns are one of two teams that will work out guard Bronny James prior to the 2024 NBA Draft.

Many have hypothesized, with accompanying line movement to back it up, that the Suns are flirting with drafting James’ son Bronny in an attempt to lure the star forward.
