Israeli official says Hamas has rejected Gaza ceasefire proposal outlined by US

JERUSALEM — Hamas has rejected a Gaza ceasefire proposal outlined by U.S. President Joe Biden, an Israeli official said on Tuesday, after receiving the Palestinian militant group’s response through mediators.
