‘The Show’ Episode 105: John Sterling Talks Broadcasting Career, Retirement

John Sterling surprised a lot of people when he announced his retirement from the Yankees broadcast booth just a few weeks into the 2024 season.

Sterling was the voice of the Yankees on the radio for 36 years.

He’s been in a broadcast booth for more than five decades.

Sterling has had so many memorable home run calls, plus his infamous “The Yankees win” call.

He joined Jon Heyman and guest co-host Mike Vaccaro on a new episode of “The Show” podcast.
