NYC slasher nicknamed ‘Bad Bitch’ arrested in killing outside illegal nightclub: cops

The name fits!

An accused slasher nicknamed “Bad Bitch” was nabbed Wednesday for fatally slicing a mother of three in the throat during a wild brawl in the Bronx, officials said.

Ashley Smith, 37, was partying with pals inside an illegal after-hours club on June 1 in Williamsbridge when a fight erupted, knocking one of her friends to the floor and prompting the bouncer to kick everyone outside, NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said Tuesday.

The fracas — which involved dozens of patrons — started around 6 a.m. then continued as it spilled out onto the sidewalk in front of 1418 Oakley Street.

“Once everyone hit the streets, about 40 people started to fight each other,” Kenny told reporters.

That’s when Jalessa Richardson, 33, allegedly slashed Smith across the neck, severing her left jugular, according to cops.

Smith, a mom of three from Mount Vernon, was rushed to NYC/Health + Hospitals/Jacobi where she died.

Richardson, who goes by the nicknames “Bad Bitch” and “Duchess Dior” then fled the scene.

Remnants from the brawl littered the sidewalk, with Smith’s giant gold hoop bracelets and broken pink fingernails still on the blood-soaked ground hours after the stabbing.

Smith was remembered as a beloved daughter on a GoFundMe page.

“Ashley was taken away from us way too soon and she didn’t deserve to leave us in a horrific way,” wrote her mother, Monique Smith.

“My daughter was a fun loving, energetic soul.”

Police, meanwhile, zeroed in on Richardson after witnesses provided videos of the violent encounter and investigators scoured her social media, Kenny said.

Richardson was charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
