Hunter Biden’s adult daughters join grandpa Joe for taxpayer-funded G7 vacation in Italy

All three of first son Hunter Biden’s adult children are believed to have joined President Biden aboard Air Force One for a three-day trip to southern Italy for the annual G7 summit — a taxpayer expense — one day after their dad’s felony conviction on federal gun charges.

First granddaughters Naomi Biden, Finnegan Biden and Maisy Biden — plus Naomi’s husband. Peter Neal — reportedly accompanied the 81-year-old president to the province of Apulia, which is growing in popularity among tourists for its unique local food, beaches and historic architecture.

At least two of the granddaughters have been spotted on the trip so far, but the first family members did not immediately disembark the plane upon arrival in Italy Wednesday night, contributing to uncertainty about who was on the trip.

The Daily Mail later reported all of Hunter’s grown children were aboard, while White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre pointedly refused to identify who else from the Biden family was accompanying the president when asked en route.

The extended Biden family gathered Tuesday night at the president’s home in Wilmington, Del., hours after Hunter’s conviction, but only Finnegan, 23, boarded Air Force One in front of journalists at Joint Base Andrews outside of Washington Wednesday morning.

First lady Jill Biden did not make the Italy trip — after serving as the first family’s leading courtroom presence during 54-year-old Hunter’s Delaware trial for illegally buying and possessing a gun while addicted to crack cocaine.

The White House did not dispute the list of reported relatives or provide additional comment, including about who would be covering the costs associated with the entourage.

Presidents are able to bring any guests they choose with them aboard Air Force One and often invite family members and political allies, though doing so sometimes attracts controversy.

The White House insisted last year that Hunter Biden and his aunt Valerie Biden Owens reimbursed taxpayers after joining President Biden for a three-day visit to Ireland that served largely as a tour of sites of ancestral interest.

It’s difficult to track actual reimbursements, however, and the standard computation — the price of a commercial first-class ticket — can fall short of the actual operational costs of Air Force One.

The first son was convicted Tuesday of three felony counts related to illegal firearm ownership after walking away from a probation-only plea deal on tax and gun charges last July over demands for comprehensive immunity for past wrongdoing, including alleged violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act — which could implicate his father, whom he regularly involved in overseas dealings.

A sentencing date has not yet been scheduled for Hunter Biden, who faces a second federal trial beginning Sept. 5 in Los Angeles for allegedly failing to pay $1.4 million in federal taxes between 2016 and 2019.
