Gay icon Paris Hilton sang loud and proud at the Alice + Olivia Pride 2024 party.
Clad in rainbow sequins and surrounded by gyrating male dancers, the effervescent businesswoman and singer belted out her new single, “I’m Free,” and two other tunes at the packed party in Hells Kitchen’s Terminal 5.
The crowd of some 700 influencers, fashion folk, drag queens channeling Paris and celebs including Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Dylan Mulvaney, Jenny Mollen, Cuba Gooding, Jessica Hart and Bijou Phillips went wild when she strutted her stuff. And when the the artist was hoisted aloft by her muscular dancers as the smoke machines and confetti cannons fired, it was clear that some girls are just born with glitter in their veins.
“I feel like I’m Pride Barbie,” Hilton told Alexa before the show. “My new single is all about celebrating who you are, and I just felt like it being Pride Month, it was the perfect [time] for it to come out.” Hilton’s single drops on June 21, and her album “Infinite Icon” will be out this fall.
“I’m really obsessed with my performance look,” added the priestess of pop, who rocked three custom Alice + Olivia looks throughout the night. “It’s all rainbow Swarovski crystal, thigh-high boots that match and matching Swarovski rainbow crystal sunglasses, and the hair,” she added, referring to her long, blond pigtails.
The fashion brand’s founder, CEO and creative director Stacey Bendet was also sporting a sparkly rainbow getup.
“For the last six years, we’ve done this event, and it’s really a celebration of sexuality, life, loving who you are and taking pride in who you are,” she said.
Lucky guests departed with swag bags filled to the brim. Among the gifts: personalized fanny packs, adorable garms and accessories from Alice + Olivia and its Big Feelings loungewear brand, and candy galore.
And when the crowd wasn’t snapping selfies at the teddy bear wall, getting glitter makeovers, making TikToks in the 360 photo booth or boogying on the 3D-illusion dance floor, they were dining on Serafina pizza, PopUp Bagels and Shake Shack delicacies washed down with Absolut Sliving Cosmos from the new Absolut x Paris Hilton Cosmo Collection.
As Paris Hilton once said, “The way I see it, you should live every day like it’s your birthday.”
