Horrifying moment stranger slaps little girl in the face on sidewalk
Disturbing video has captured the moment a child was struck in the face by a stranger while walking along a street with her mother in Brazil.
Surveillance footage shows the girl strolling down a sidewalk with her mom as another lady wearing a hot pink shirt walks toward them from the opposite direction.
As she goes past them, she suddenly sticks out her arm and smacks the child across the face.
The horrified mom tries to go after the attacker, but her daughter pulls her back before a male bystander comes to their aid.
In the clip, he can be seen rushing over, then knocking the perpetrator to the ground and kicking her.
The enraged woman gets up and can be seen screaming at the man as concerned witnesses console the mother and child.
It’s unclear when or where in the country the altercation was filmed.
Social media users rushed to the defense of the man who took down the attacker.
One wrote: “She got what she deserves.”
Another said: “That was appropriate.”
A third added: “Wasn’t good enough if you ask me.”
It was not immediately clear what the woman’s motive was or if anyone called the police to have her arrested.
