Weird But True

ALDI customer’s horrifying ‘fight schedule’ discovery on store floor: ‘I thought it was a shopping list’

An ALDI shopper recently stumbled upon a note on the supermarket floor that was far from what he expected.

What initially appeared to be a shopping list was, upon closer inspection, a compilation of names under the heading “People I want to punch in the face.”

The list was accompanied by a “fight schedule” outlining specific times for these planned attacks.

The unexpected ALDI find

The anonymous shopper was taken aback after reading the contents of the note and took to Reddit to share the find.

“At my local ALDI and noticed someone’s, I assumed, grocery list on the ground. Decided to inspect further when I left the store,” they wrote, posting a photo of the note with the alarming title and names scribbled below.

Names included “Emma” at 12 p.m, “Hunt” at 3 p.m, and “Joe” at 4 p.m. Sofia, Sam, and Donna, were also listed without assigned times.

“Makes me so sad”

The post quickly gained attention and sparked a variety of reactions.

Some commenters took a lighthearted approach, with one woman joking, “My friend is wondering where you could buy notepaper like that with such an uplifting message.”

Another person quipped, “I wish I were this organized.”

However, not everyone saw it as funny.

“I was bullied in primary school for being a ‘nerd’, and it basically destroyed my work ethic in high school because I tried so hard to make sure it didn’t happen again. Seeing stuff like this made light of pisses me off,” one commenter shared.

“This is so sad and cruel,” another added.

A concerned mom weighed in, saying, “We constantly tell our kids to use their words, and hitting is never okay. But this isn’t a loophole to get out of it. Violence towards anyone is not okay. Hopefully, the owner is found, and the school is made aware.”

“This makes me so sad that children feel the need to make lists like this. That kids are bullied so much that they feel the need to make lists like this, and also the children who make it on lists like this. No one walks away a winner.”
