Dave Portnoy is weighing in on Bill Belichick’s widely publicized romance with former cheerleader Jordon Hudson, who is 48 years his junior.
When discussing the relationship between the ex-Patriots coach, 72, and Hudson, 24, on Wednesday’s installment of the “BFFs” podcast, the Barstool Sports founder said he doesn’t “judge” the age gap between the pair as their romance continues to dominate headlines.
“It’s a big gap. You guys have problems with age gaps. That’s fine, I don’t judge,” Portnoy said to his co-hosts before diving into Belichick’s first encounter with Hudson in 2021.
“They met naturally over homework on a plane.”
Belichick was said to be enthralled with Hudson’s philosophy project during their initial exchange, according to TMZ, which later shared a photo of the coach’s autograph in her “Deductive Logic” textbook.
“Jordon, Thanks for giving me a course on logic! Safe travels!” Belichick wrote before signing his name.
Belichick — who won six Super Bowls as head coach of the Patriots before departing the organization in January after 24 seasons — also posed for a selfie with Hudson during the 2021 exchange, according to a photo published Tuesday by TMZ.
His relationship with Hudson turned romantic following his breakup with longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday, with Page Six reporting last September that she and Belichick had “been involved in a drawn-out, back-and-forth breakup for nearly a year.”
They had been together since 2007.
Days after their relationship was made public, Belichick and Hudson stepped out Wednesday in Nantucket, where they were seen boarding his boat, VIII Rings.
Belichick, who won two championships as the Giants’ defensive coordinator in Super Bowls 1987 and 1991, dressed in a navy blue shirt and beige shorts, while Hudson opted for a black top and white lace shorts, as seen in photos obtained by the Daily Mail.
Portnoy, 47, added on Wednesday’s episode of “BFFs” that he could potentially see the pair on the Massachusetts island.
“Maybe I’ll see them,” he said.
Belichick’s dalliances have been a hot topic for some time.
Last month, Tom Brady called out his former coach after it appeared he was caught slinking out of a house shirtless in Ring camera footage that surfaced in November 2023.
“Everybody asks me which ring is my favorite, I used to say ‘the next one.’ But now that I am retired, my favorite Ring is the camera that caught coach Belichick slinking out of that poor girl’s house a few months ago. Hey, you still got it. Respect baby,” Brady said on his raunchy Netflix roast.
The Daily Mail reported Wednesday it was Hudson’s Massachusetts residence that Belichick was departing.
