Rep. Jasmine Crockett taunts Marjorie Taylor Greene, again: ‘Hard-pressed to find someone dumber’

Here we go again.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) took several shots at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Thursday, attacking her intelligence as she recounted a heated Capitol Hill hearing from last month.

“It’s just that Marjorie is a little slow,” the Texas Democrat told late-night host Jimmy Kimmel when asked about what sparked her infamous argument with Greene.

Crockett, 43, lashed out at the 50-year-old Georgia Republican during a House Oversight Committee hearing in May, suggesting that Greene had a “bleach blonde, bad-built, butch body” after the congresswoman accused her Democratic colleague of wearing “fake eyelashes.”

The Texas Democrat told Kimmel that she was perturbed that the hearing on whether to move forward with a contempt resolution against Attorney General Merrick Garland had been scheduled for 11 a.m. but was delayed until 8 p.m. because some GOP members attended former President Donald Trump’s Manhattan hush money trial.

She said she grew more agitated by Greene’s comments about Manhattan Judge Juan Merchan, which she believed to be unrelated to the business of that evening.

“So, now I’m upset ‘cause it’s already late at night, [I’ve] been here all day, ready to work, y’all aren’t here – and you’re still talking about that failed trial. So, I had to ask [Greene] if she understood, ‘cause she’s not the brightest,” Crockett said.

The lawmaker revealed that as she waited for a “very confused” Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) to rule on whether to dismiss Greene from the hearing or force her to apologize she looked Greene “head to toe” and wrote down her now infamous shot at Georgia congresswoman’s looks.

When Kimmel asked about Greene’s intelligence relative to other congressional lawmakers, Crockett responded, “I’d be hard-pressed to find someone dumber.”

“We don’t talk,” she said of her current relationship with Greene.

Greene’s office did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.
