Hooker and pal killed ‘sugar daddy,’ used severed thumb to get into his bank account to buy booze and drugs: cops

A 22-year-old escort and her pal were charged with killing her “sugar daddy” and cutting off his thumb — which she used to buy booze and drugs, according to court records.

Tiffany Taylor Gray, who witnesses said was “involved in prostitution,” is accused of luring 53-year-old Fasil Teklemariam to his Washington, DC, apartment on April 1, where he was struck in the head and stabbed multiple times, according to a police affidavit reviewed by The Post.

One witness told police they saw Taylor “utilize the decedent’s thumb to obtain money from the decedent’s account,” the affidavit said. “Witness 5 also stated that ‘Taylor’ paid for Uber, bought weed and alcohol with use of the decedent’s thumb.”

Gray and an alleged cohort, Audrey Miller, 19, are facing murder charges in the case.

The witness identified the dead man as Gray’s “sugar daddy,” the document said.

Security camera photos released by DC Metro Police show Teklemariam walking into his Peabody Street Northwest apartment with Miller on April 1, leaving briefly less than a half-hour later and returning with three cans of Coca-Cola, the footage shows.

He was never seen alive again.

Cops were called to the apartment shortly before 11:30 a.m. April 5 and found Teklemariam’s bloodied body in a rear bedroom — with multiple wounds and missing his right thumb, the affidavit said.

Investigators determined that the two women and at least two men were seen using the dead man’s key fob to get into the building several times — including leaving with items from the apartment.

Police used the footage and a trace of Teklemariam’s phone to track down his accused killers.

Gray, who also used the name Taylor Greene, was already named in a complaint for allegedly stealing $1,800 from Teklemariam’s cash app while the two were at a hotel in October 2023, the affidavit said.

The outcome of that case is unclear.

However, police busted Miller in the murder case on June 21, and picked up Gray on July 1.

Both are charged with first-degree murder — with police offering a $25,000 reward for anyone else involved in the gruesome slaying, the department said.
