Woman’s list of dating non-negotiables — including 9-inch penis — divides internet

Setting your boundaries when it comes to dating is important, but one Aussie woman has taken it a step further.

Alicia Davis, 32, lives in Australia. She’s posted a lengthy list online of the minimum requirements she expects from the men she’s dating.

The list covers everything from the man must own a car, be in shape, have a specific sized penis (6-9 inches) and never cheated in prior relationships.

Ms. Davis said that if the man doesn’t meet all her requirements on the list, she ends up getting the “ick,” and the relationship never works out.

She also wants someone financially stable, someone who wants marriage but hasn’t been married before, someone who travels but is happy to pay for their own airfares, someone who has has a good sense of humour, is invested in self-development, and has good communication skills.

She said that the man doesn’t have to be “Mr Perfect” but she’s just aware of what she’s looking for in a partner and not afraid to write it down.

Ms. Davis is taking her list so seriously, that she’s even set up an application form that eligible men can fill out in hopes of scoring a date with her. As long as they quite literally check all her boxes.

She said that the man doesn’t have to be “Mr Perfect” but she’s just aware of what she’s looking for in a partner and not afraid to write it down.

“This is my non-negotiable list, and if anyone wants to date me and they can’t check all of these boxes, then bye,” she said.

She said she has a list to remind herself what she wants in a romantic partner and told potential partners to “stay away” from her if they don’t meet the requirements.

The woman’s list quickly divided people online, especially men, who claimed she was being too picky and she’d end up being “single” forever.

Someone else said that there isn’t a “man on this planet that will accept” her requirements.

She was unbothered by the response and said any man who saw anything on her list as a deal breaker should “scroll on”, but she wasn’t prepared to lower her standards.

Ms. Davis, who has been single for three years, said she created the list purely out of self-preservation and wanting to meet the right person.

“I’ve had many unsatisfactory dating experiences, but both the good and bad experiences and self-growth have taught me what I do and don’t want, which is what shaped such a specific criteria,” she told news.com.au.

“This ensures I’m not wasting time with the wrong people and that I’m being treated how I expect and deserve.”

“Years ago, I would have totally overlooked so many of these things, but I implemented this list recently after I was sick of having to put up with people who don’t know what they want when I do.”
