Ivanka Trump to be at the RNC as dad Donald accepts Republican nomination Thursday

Ivanka Trump will be by her father’s side to watch him accept the Republican Party’s presidential nomination on Thursday, The Post is told.

Days after Donald Trump’s brush with death on Saturday, Ivanka, 42, is set to fly to Milwaukee to join him at the Republican National Convention and watch his address.

She will be joined by her husband, Jared Kushner, although as previously revealed, she will not have any official role at the convention.

Although Ivanka and her family live in Miami, they have been staying at Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, NJ.

Trump was taken there after his assassination attempt during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Sources close to the family said Ivanka was “terrified” before speaking to her father by phone.

The mother-of-three said on Sunday that she believed her late mother had been watching over Trump.

The shooting came almost two years to the day since Ivana, 73, died after falling down stairs at her Upper East Side townhouse.

“Two years ago today, my mom passed away. I believe she was watching over Dad last night during the attempt on his life,” Ivanka wrote on social media.

“I miss her every day and pray for the safety of the family and friends she left behind,” she added.

The Post previously revealed that Ivanka will not introduce her father, or make any speeches at this year’s convention, after quitting politics following a stint in her father’s White House.

Earlier this month, she admitted that politics is a “rough, rough business” and a “pretty dark world” in a new interview with podcaster Lex Fridman.

“It was a decision rooted in me being a parent, really thinking about what they need from me now. Politics is a rough, rough business, and I think it’s one that you also can’t dabble in. I think you have to either be all in or all out,” Ivanka said of stepping away for her three children. “And I know today the cost they would pay for me being all in, emotionally, in terms of my absence at such a formative point in their life,”

Trump has said he has re-written his planned speech to focus on uniting the country.

The former president made his first public appearance since the shooting at the convention Monday night, appearing with a bandage over his ear as the crowd chanted “fight” — the word Trump spoke after surviving the assassination attempt.

The Post has reached out to reps for former first lady Melania Trump, 54, who wrote an emotional statement about the shooting. She is expected to be in Milwaukee later this week.
