Trump mocks Biden’s golf game again in video with Bryson DeChambeau

Donald Trump no longer has Joe Biden as an election opponent, but still considers him a rival on the golf course.

On Tuesday, two-time U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau posted a video of a round of golf with the 45th president at Trump’s Bedminster course in New Jersey.

Playing from the red tees on the second hole, a par 3, Trump hit his tee shot onto the green and immediately began crowing about it.

“You think Biden can do that? I don’t know. We had an argument about golf. Can you believe it?” Trump asked.

A voice in the background chimed in, “I don’t know if Bryson can do that.”

DeChambeau’s “Breaking 50” YouTube series features the LIV Golfer and a guest playing a best ball format from the women’s red tees and trying to break over 18 holes.

The 56-minute video ended with Trump draining a clutch putt to finish the round at exactly 50 — or 22-under par.

It also featured Trump claiming he has made eight hole-in-ones in his lifetime.

When Trump and Biden debated in late June, the two squared off about their respective golf games.

It began when Trump was asked about his fitness to be president by CNN anchor Dana Bash.

“I took physical exams every year… I’m in very good health. I just won two club championships, not even senior, two regular club championships,” Trump said.

“To do that, you have to be quite smart and you have to be able to hit the ball a long way. And I do it. He doesn’t do it. He can’t hit a ball 50 yards. He challenged me to a golf match. He can’t hit a ball 50 yards.

“I think I’m a very good shape. I feel that I’m in as good a shape as I was 25, 30 years ago. Actually, I’m probably a little bit lighter. But I’m in as good a shape as I was years ago. I feel very good. I feel the same.”

Eventually, Biden asserted he could beat Trump in golf.

“Look, I’d be happy to have a driving contest with him. I got my handicap, which, when I was vice president, down to a 6,” Biden said.

“And by the way, I told you before I’m happy to play golf if you carry your own bag. Think you can do it?”

Trump responded, “That’s the biggest lie that he’s a 6 handicap, of all.”

“I was 8 handicap,” Biden said.

Trump did not believe him: “I’ve seen your swing, I know your swing.”

Later, DeChambeau offered to host the two for a match on his YouTube channel.

Earlier this week, DeChambeau stressed that the event was for charity, to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project, where he and Trump would each be donating $10,000 for every stroke they scored under par.

“To be clear, this is about golf and giving back to our nation’s veterans, not politics. A few weeks ago I reached out to both parties’ presidential campaigns and @realDonaldTrump was down for the challenge.” DeChambeau wrote on X on Monday.

“It is an incredible honor to be able to enjoy a round of golf with any sitting or former president, and all have an open invitation to join me for a round of Break 50 anytime.”

With his performance in the debate against Trump as a key contributing factor, Joe Biden eventually dropped out of the presidential election on Sunday, likely clearing the way for his vice president Kamala Harris to face Trump in November.

As social media users began to chime in, DeChambeau clarified that the video was shot before Trump’s assassination attempt on July 13 in Pennsylvania.

“To confirm and clear any speculation, the Break 50 video with (Trump) was filmed during the first week of July, before I traveled overseas and prior to the incident that occurred in Butler, PA,” DeChambeau tweeted.
