“Treating your lingerie right is a must,” says Martinez-Madrid. Both she and Finn recommend washing items by hand. “Especially if your piece has lace, elastic, or other delicate material.” says Finn.
Along with hand-washing, Martinez-Madrid has a few more tips. “[Lingerie] deserves TLC. Mild detergent, no washing machine temptations, and let them air-dry.
“When it comes to storage, keep them separate to avoid snags. Treat your lingerie like the treasure it is, and it’ll reciprocate the love.”
