We are proud to announce our partnership with Habit Health and Physio Rehab Group, a leading provider of rehabilitation and wellness services in Aotearoa. “Teaming up with Habit Health is fantastic for ARL.  This partnership removes financial barriers for our community to access support for physio services.” says Rebecca Russell, CEO of Auckland Rugby League, “We're committed to making sure everyone in our community can be healthier and keep playing the sport they love.” In 2023 our Auckland Rugby League Voice of the Player survey uncovered the need for better support systems for injuries and mental well-being check ins, so the partnership directly addresses the feedback received from players and their whānau. Partnering with Habit Health provides access to specialized Physiotherapy focusing on personalised treatment plans for recovery and overall wellbeing. Auckland Rugby League and Auckland Niue Rugby League have joined forces in a partnership agreement which will look to support further growth of the game across the Auckland region. “This agreement expands opportunities for grassroots collaboration, shared resources, and mutual growth. At our recent AGM, we had the honour of recognising a true legend in the world of Rugby League: Sir Graham Lowe, as a recipient of the prestigious Auckland Rugby League Life Member Award and was confirmed as ARL’s Patron. As we head into the 2024 ARL season, we’ve already had double the number of women register this year versus the same time last year.
