NEW Partnership Announcement!! People allllwwwaayyyssssss ask me what my favourite cocktail is (as you can imagine).. My typical response is that's like asking my girlfriend what her favourite pair of shoes is. Where am I going, is it Summer or Winter, what's the occasion, what's everyone else wearing..? Working at the Black Pineapple Co. cocktail factory day in & out means I'm more likely to be sipping on a cold beer after work than getting the shakers out, which is just one of 872 reasons why we're highly carbonated and fizzed up at BPHQ to announce our latest partnership with the fantastic crew at The Beer Spot, Auckland-wide!! Beer Spot have never served cocktails until now, and the team there understand how our range of EPIC premium, bar-identical cocktails can help grow total revenue without distracting their hop-obsessed bar crew & adding additional revenue versus canabalising their core offering. Sooooooo if you're around this Thursday after work come and say hi to me and the B.P team - we'll be celebrating the partnership with a simultaneous launch at Beer Spots Northcote, Huapai, Morningside, Whangaparoa, Panmure & Papakura. A couple of weeks ago at Black Pineapple Co.. we got a super exciting email from one of our most important customers, Chelsea at Spark Arena. They wanted to know if we could create custom bulk batched cocktails at a lower %ABV, suitable for serving to the public in the G.A area, as a trial for their large ticketed events. Kicking off with SZA, playing 3 shows between April 13th & 16th. Our cocktail gurus Chris & Ben got right to work. Jessie created new brand assets, designed & printed POS & menus & we installed the pop up bar & lounge ourselves, led by the amazing Miles. Oh, and big shout out to Lucy from Lucy's hire for the awesome furniture, 5 Digital for turning around the POS quick snap, and Dominic from Rollercoaster Design for our gorgeous new bar panel!! (That's a lightbox shining the gold colour through a transparent design FYI).. By Wednesday morning, over 30,000 people will have packed out Spark Arena for SZA. And we know how much a party crowd are into cocktails... The ability for us to partner venues & pop up at large ticketed events and festivals is a real focus for us this year. Our clients that 'get it' know that their customers are demanding ever increasing levels of experiences & sophistication & we're here to help them deliver that. Cocktails are THE most exciting part of the liquor industry right now, with pretty much all growth across categories delivered in this space. As an in-person events company that now has a powerful wholesale cocktail offering we are perfectly placed to partner with venues such as Spark - we have the assets (bars, theming, equipment, slushy machines - you name it!), the people & skills & of course endless delicious cocktails - all designed to Wow! Holly Smokes it's been a hot minute since I made an Black Pineapple Co. Partnership Announcement!!! How slack of me!!! End of last year I made the trip down to the mainland and ran a training session with the AMAZING team at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre. Darren T. & the team have been on board with us for several months now, using our Trade Cocktail range for conferencing and large events. SUCH a beautiful building / space and they even let me into the boardroom / bat cave to run a sales skills session with the team as well. Black Pineapple Co. now has its spiritual home in the heart of Ponsonby. We're partnering with the amazing Nikki Ahern and the team at Ahu (between Elmos and Lucky 8 - check it out) to deliver outstanding B.P cocktails at this exciting new music-led venue. The team are a dream to work with & the B.P team selfishly have their Friday nights drinks sorted to boot! Cheers to that!

At Black Pineapple Co. we're proud to have Auckland Live as a Trade cocktail customer - they were actually one of our first ever key accounts to take on the range (sorry Darron Beange and Rakesh Sood for being so slow in posting this!!) Historically the events team hasn't been able to sell and serve cocktails for weddings and other large events - tricky with a seasonally leaning business plus rural location for consistency of staffing.
