Nā tō rourou, nā taku rourou, ka ora ai te iwi With your food basket and my food basket, the people will thrive Our whakatāukī (proverb) To really embrace the spirit and meaning of Matariki, we hosted a cultural night for our Tāmaki Makaurau team with kapa haka, waiata, haka pōwhiri, and a candle lighting ceremony to honour our ancestors and lost loved ones, before an evening of food, drinks and dancing. We were honoured to host the incredibly talented Ngā Tai Aroha group, led by Temoana Biddle. This was an opportunity for all dentsu team members to feel welcome, to participate, get involved and share in the Matariki traditions. Not hallucinating our win at Cannes 🦁 We're really proud of our talented team at Dentsu Creative Aotearoa for scoring a Silver Lion for the Aid Aisle campaign at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity Outdoor Lions. Described as an 'awesome hallucination', our team launched the FreshChoice ‘Aid Aisle’ last year, for participants involved in the Kepler Challenge, New Zealand’s premier ultra-marathon. Built specially to fit the Kepler Track, the Aid Aisle was positioned 51km into the race, where exhausted runners could help themselves to anything they wanted - all for the price of $0.
