  • Family Volunteering in Peru 👨👩👧👦 "Our whole family experienced a completely new way of living in the world. The surroundings were incredible and unspoiled by technology. My children gained even more insight than I did. We frequently discussed the things we take for granted and other ways we could help people on the project and at home. Our language lessons were impeccable, and overall, we gained a greater appreciation for life as we know it."- Mathews Family, 2 weeks, Andean Immersion Project. So thankful to have been able to take part in an amazing volunteering Woman Empowement program in Kerela, India for the last 3 weeks. By helping better conversational English and basic computer/interview skills, this program aims to help reduce gender-based employment inequality and in turn boost the chances of female financial and social independence. Not only was this program an incredible chance to emmerse myself in new culture, opportunity and meet many wonderful people, it also taught me a number of valuable skills in communication, leadership and independence. Highly recommend researching volunteering through International Volunteer HQ (IVHQ) !!
